Ohr Meir & Bracha is concerned that each family be provided with the basics. Due to lack of funds parents dress their children in shoes that are worn, torn, and/or too small. During the “Storm of the Century” –Winter 2013 – one gentleman arrived to pick up his food basket dressed in shorts and sandals. That was all he owned. During the summer months we take the children on day trips. Many arrive in the heat dressed for the coldest days of winter. They simply lack the funds to buy clothing for the new season.

Ohr Meir & Bracha provides needy families with a letter and voucher to local stores where they may shop with dignity for new clothes and shoes.
