Many children face the extreme weather of Winter without the “luxury” of cuddling under a warm blanket.  Due to financial constraints, the household budget does not extend to purchasing a blanket for each child.  Therefore, these children spend the night in their clothes covered by their jackets.  Our project got off to a running start with a contribution of 20 quilts.  In all, 1000 blankets were purchased and distributed to our families.
